Si è conclusa la scorsa domenica la Missione Happy Children 2013 organizzata dall’Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri Roma Ovest 136°, un gesto di solidarietà verso i bambini Sardi colpiti dalla recente alluvione.
Tutto è iniziato i primi del mese di dicembre con una raccolta di giocattoli effettuata davanti al Toys Center di Via della Stazione di Grottarossa, 1060 dove, grazie alla sensibilità delle persone comuni, sono stati raccolti piu’ di 1000 giochi da distribuire ai comuni della Sardegna “Solarussa, Uras, Oristano (Ospedale Pediatrico e casa famiglia)in comune accordo con i Sindaci e Responsabili Sanitari.
I Volontari, dopo aver inscatolato e catalogato il tutto, si sono diretti a Civitavecchia alla volta della Sardegna grazie al prezioso contributo della Tirrenia nella persona del Dott. Masciocchi che ha mostrato si da subito interesse per l’iniziativa prestandosi per l’ottima riuscita offrendo il viaggio di andata e ritorno senza alcun costo. Un viaggio della speranza, un percorso intrapreso con i Carabinieri della Compagnia Cassia e Prima Porta per donare un sorriso ed una giornata di festa per chi, in quel terribile giorno, ha perduto tutto: casa, lavoro, famiglia, oggetti personali. Un viaggio che ha permesso ai Volontari di piangere, di ridere, di ricevere amore, commozione, ma anche tanta gioia.
Questi bambini, ci spiega il Responsabile Operativo del Nucleo Pierpaolo Finocchio, promotore della Missione Happy Children 2013, erano emotivamente tristi, nei loro occhi si leggeva ancora la paura e l’angoscia vissuta, ci guardavano con degli occhioni belli come mai ho potuto vedere durante la mia vita da Volontario. Mi hanno aperto il cuore – conclude – dimostrandomi che i primi a dover ascoltare sono proprio loro, i nostri bambini, si, perché oggi sono anche nostri figli.
L’associazione, attraverso il generoso contributo dei cittadini, hanno donato solo giochi, ma i bambini hanno donato tanta emozione e tanta voglia di fare, ancora di più rispetto a quello che anonimamente facciamo ogni giorno, dalle calamità al sociale.
